1. P51 Mustang
Introducing Ferocious Frankie - a P51 D Mustang built in 1944. This model was flown by W E Hopkins, 361st FS, during D-day sorties from RAF Bottisham and is now maintained in pristine condition by the Old Flying Machine Co. at Duxford. A regular attendee at UK airshows and always flown with great enthusiam ie low and fast! Not as rare a beast as the elapsed time would indicate as some 300 Mustangs survive of the 15,000 plus built.
