About
The photographs displayed on the site are the product of a family team, father, two sons and, lately, two grandsons, hence the name Clan-Photography. With many years of photographic experience the team is dedicated to producing high quality images especially of aircraft and Scottish landscapes. The Scottish gallery celebrates our home country and Duncan (and family) spend much time roaming the Highlands, winter and summer, capturing the images presented in our gallery. Duncan, with his family deeply involved in Ice-hockey and Rugby is also responsible for the 'Sports' section. All of the team have an abiding interest in aviation (Pat with 17yrs as RAF aircrew) and our many visits to airshows, both in the UK (usually Duxford) and with Jim in the US/Canada, have afforded many opportunities to record the magnificent old warbirds so lovingly restored and then displayed at these events. The Aviation prints gallery contains composite images using many of the above aircraft photographs, often combined with other aircraft, and merged with a background sympathetic to the original operational mode of the prototypes. This is Pat's area of expertise as he prefers the 'desk' to the cold/rain etc of outdoors! Please note as you go through the galleries that the thumbnail images shown are very low resolution and the final prints supplied are from the high-res originals - typically 3000 x 2000 pixels. All prints are made on archival quality paper and prepared with pigment based inks. A range of print sizes and prices is available as shown in the 'Buy' facility. A variety of other products, all using one of our photographs, is available at the 'Shop' facility. If you have any queries or comments about the site, images or products please do not hesitate to contact us - we will try to respond to all comments as quickly as possible.
